Police are inactive on the complaint lodged by the petitioner. Let affidavit-of-service filed in Court be taken on record. From the affidavit-of-service it appears that bank refused to accept the service.

The State is represented.

Learned advocate appearing for the State submits that the complaint of the petitioner was enquired into. On enquiry the police learnt that the petitioner obtained a loan from the bank. The petitioner also applied for moratorium which was granted. Thereafter the petitioner defaulted in payment the amount of loan. Recovery agents visited the place of the petitioner.

Apparently, the petitioner is a defaulter in payment of loan to the bank. Again apparently, the bank sent recovery agents to the petitioner for recovery of the loan amount. According to the petitioner, the persons sent by the bank are miscreants and are threatening the petitioner. The bank is at liberty to recover the loan in accordance with law.

So far as the persons claiming to represent the bank visiting the petitioner and threatening him are concerned, police will take appropriate steps with regard thereto upon complaints being lodged by the petitioner.

Accordingly, WPA 11809 of 2021 is disposed of. Urgent certified website copies of this order, if applied for, be made available to the parties upon compliance of the requisite formalities.
