The writ petition is heard in presence of the learned advocates representing the petitioner, State respondents and the West Bengal Central School Service Commission.

The subject matter of challenge in the writ petition is the order of the Grievance Committee dated 16th August, 2021 whereby prayer for consideration of the candidature of the petitioner in connection with her participation in 1st State Level Selection Test, 2016 (Upper Primary) was rejected. The ground of rejection is failure to obtain training qualification by the petitioner before the cut off date i.e. 24th October, 2016.

It has been submitted on behalf of the Commission that the cut off date which has been fixed by the Commission for obtaining training qualification in connection with the selection process of 1st State Level Selection Test, 2016 (Upper Primary) is 24th October, 2016 and in the present case petitioner has obtained training qualification after the cut off date.

In view of fact that petitioner could not obtain training qualification on or before the cut off date i.e. 24th October, 2016 no relief can be granted to the petitioner upon interfering with the order of the Grievance Committee dated 16th August, 2021. Accordingly, the writ petition stands dismissed.

However, there shall be no order as to costs.
