It appears that the claim of the petitioner relates to work done and completed pursuant to work order for a temporary civil work issued by the Block Development Officer, South 24 Parganas on 18.04.2019 in relation to the Parliamentary Election, 2019. The fact that the petitioner was issued the work order and performed the work undisputedly. A representation made by the petitioner on 30.05.2022 to the Block Development Officer has not been responded till date.

The representation relates to the balance amount which is due to the petitioner.

After hearing learned counsel and considering the documents, WPA 10540 of 2022 is disposed of with the direction on the respondent No. 4 being the Block Development Officer, Mathurapur-II, South 24 Parganas

to consider the representation made by the petitioner on 30.05.2022 and dispose of the same within three weeks from the date of communication of this order upon hearing all concerned parties including the petitioner. The said respondents shall disburse the admitted amount to the petitioner within two weeks from the date on which the claim of the petitioner is disposed of. The petitioner shall be at liberty of relying on documents at the time of hearing.
