The petitioner complains of encroachment upon public highway by the private respondents in front of his property thereby obstructing his egress and ingress thereto. An application filed by the petitioner before respondent no. 5 on 25th May 2021 is pending. Upon consideration of submissions made by the parties and documents on record, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction upon respondent no. 5 to dispose of the application filed by the petitioner before him in accordance with law after giving an opportunity of hearing to all the affected parties including the petitioner, within a period of three months from the date of communication of this order. Respondent no. 5 shall assess the extent of encroachment, if any, and take necessary steps for removal of the same in accordance with law.

WPA 11825 of 2021 is disposed of accordingly. There will be no order as to costs.
