The writ petition is disposed of with a direction upon the Superintendent of Police, Paschim Medinipur to dispose of the representation of the petitioner, which is annexurep/4 to this writ petition, in accordance with law. While disposing of the said representation, the report of the police authorities, which has been filed before the learned Executive Magistrate, shall be taken into consideration. Upon consideration the issues raised in the representation, necessary orders shall be passed by the Superintendent of Police with regard to the prayer for protection. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of. However, there will be no order as to costs.

All the parties are directed to act on the basis of the server copy of this order.
