The petitioners are aggrieved that 797 vacancies and another 1451 vacancies totaling in 2248 have not been filled up by the West Bengal Board of Primary Education and the DPSC, North 24 Parganas in the year 2006 that was merged to the year 2009.

It appears from the submissions of the learned counsel for the DPSC, North 24 Parganas that by order dated 21.09.2023 passed by WPA 20848 of 2022 (Gobindalal Biswas and others Vs. State of West Bengal and others) it was held that non consideration of anticipated vacancy will not vitiate a recruitment process conducted by the DPSC, North 24 Parganas or the Board.

This Court even otherwise notes that an issue with regard to the vacancies of the year 2009 cannot be raised or entertained in the year 2024.

For the reasons stated above, the writ petition fails and is hereby dismissed.

There will be no order as to costs.
