Matter is heard in presence of learned advocates representing petitioner, State respondents and respondent nos.5, 6 and 7.

It is alleged that respondent nos.5, 6 and 7 are disturbing peaceful possession of the petitioner over the land in question thereby prompting petitioner to approach this Court with present writ petition seeking direction upon concerned police authorities to take steps which would ensure right of petitioner over the land in question.

Learned advocate representing respondent nos.5, 6 and 7 disputes such submission made on behalf of petitioner and it is contended that apart from the land purchased by petitioner, an effort is made by petitioner to enjoy possession of adjacent land which is undivided property.

Learned advocate representing State respondents has filed a communication dated 10th June, 2026 of Officer-in-Charge of Hingalganj Police Station and same is taken on record. Copies of the said communication dated 10th June, 2026 are made over to learned advocates representing petitioner and respondent nos.5, 6 and 7.

Having considered respective submissions made on behalf of parties, it appears petitioner is primarily aggrieved by the acts and actions of respondent nos.5, 6 and 7 as peaceful possession of petitioner over the land in question is being disturbed by those respondents. If petitioner finds that his right over the land in question is being denied by respondent nos.5, 6 and 7, in that event petitioner needs to approach the civil Court in pursuit of remedy. Police authorities are not the appropriate authorities to decide inter se right of the parties over the land in question. 6.

However, concerned police authorities are directed to maintain peace and tranquility at the locale and to see no untoward incident takes place.

Writ petition stands disposed of.
