Learned counsel for the petitioner takes this Court to the injury report submitted by the doctor which indicates that the deceased committed suicide and injuries found in his body are not likely to cause death in the ordinary course of nature.
Learned counsel for the State opposes the prayer. The petitioner is the wife of the deceased who committed suicide. Charge sheet has been submitted. Considering the material on record, particularly the medical report as well as extent of complicity of the petitioner in the alleged crime, prayer for bail is allowed.
The petitioner, Reshma Begam @ Reshma Khatun @ Bulu be released on bail upon furnishing bond of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand only), with two sureties of like amount each, one of whom must be local, to the satisfaction of the learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Arambagh, Hooghly subject to condition that she shall appear before the learned trial Court on every date of hearing. She shall not intimidate witnesses or tamper with evidence in any manner whatsoever.
In the event the petitioner fails to comply with any of the conditions as mentioned above without justifiable cause, the learned trial Court shall be at liberty to cancel her bail in accordance with law without further reference to this Court. The application for bail is, thus, disposed of. Case Diary be returned.
