Ms. Jeenia Rudra ...for the petitioner Mr. Rajendra Banerjee Mr. Arnab Sau ....for the State Report filed on behalf of the State is taken on record. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in this case. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the State relies on the case diary and strongly opposes the prayer for anticipatory bail. He submits that the murder case was registered in the year 2021. In 2022 itself, a proclamation was issued against the present petitioner. The petitioner has remained absconding for a very long time. He refers to the post mortem report and the statements of witnesses including those of two eye-witnesses, which clearly implicate the present petitioner.

Considering the above and the other incriminating materials available in the case diary, I do not consider this to be a fit case for granting anticipatory bail.

The application for anticipatory bail is, thus, rejected.

Urgent photostat certified copies of this order may be delivered to the learned Advocates for the parties, if applied for, upon compliance of all formalities.
