Mitra Ms. Ariba Shahab ... for the opposite party The petitioner seeks transfer of the Matrimonial Suit No.170 of 2022, which is pending before the learned Additional District Judge, 1st Court, Durgapur, Pashcim Bardhaman, to the court of any learned Additional Judge at South 24 Parganas. Having considered the fact that the wife resides at Maniktala, Kolkata and the husband is employed in Kolkata Municipal Corporation, the matrimonial suit can be transferred to any court having competent jurisdiction, at Kolkata.

Having heard the learned advocates for the respective parties, this court directs the learned District Judge, Paschim Bardhaman to transfer the records of Matrimonial Suit No.170 of 2022 to the court of the learned District Judge, South 24 Parganas. The learned District Judge, South 24 Parganas shall assign the matter to a court of competent jurisdiction at Sealdah, on an urgent basis. The suit shall be adjudicated by the transferee court. The transferee Judge, upon receipt of records,

shall issue notices to the parties and proceed with the adjudication.

The revisional application is disposed of.

All the parties are directed to act on the basis of the server copy of the order.
