Petitioner has approached this Court being aggrieved by the fact that his wife and minor daughter has gone missing. It has been contended in the writ petition that his wife left with her minor daughter to visit a doctor and since then she has not returned. Petitioner, in his communication to the Superintendent of Police as well as the Officer-inCharge, Khandaghosh Police Station, has expressed his agony and anxiety but no steps were taken. Petitioner has in the writ petition also named certain persons who could have been involved in the disappearance of his wife and the minor daughter. As none appears on behalf of the State, Mr.

SM Samim Ullah, learned advocate, who ordinarily appears on behalf of the State, is directed to represent the State. His appearance may be regularized by the concerned authorities.

Having regard to the nature of the information so furnished, if the police till date has not taken any steps, petitioner would be at liberty to approach the learned jurisdictional Magistrate under Section 175(3) of the BNSS.

With the aforesaid observations, WPA 11124 of 2025 is disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.

All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copies of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties upon compliance of all requisite formalities.
