1. By way of this public interest litigation the petitioner seeks for a direction upon the authorities more particularly the National Investigating Agency to investigate into the unauthorized and illegal stocking of bombs and fire arms in Howrah district more particularly in the locality i.e. Moubesia Paschimpara of Uluberia.

2. Though the respondents have been served, till date the matter has not been heard and the matter has been adjourned twice.

3. If the allegation made by the petitioner is proved to be correct, then it is a very serious matter. 4.

Therefore, the National Investigating Agency, namely, the 3rd respondent should look into the complaint made by the petitioner and take appropriate action in accordance with law.

5. Since the writ petition is disposed of without calling for affidavits, the allegations made in

the writ petition or in the representation are not gone into.

6. Accordingly, there will be a direction to the petitioner to forward a copy of the representation along with copy of this order to the 3rd respondent, who, on receipt of the same, shall ascertain the facts and proceed in accordance with law as expeditiously as possible.

7. With the above observation, this petition stands disposed of.
