The writ petition relates to a tender floated by the Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL) for selection of dealers for regular and rural outlets.

The oil company has filed an affidavit mentioning that no selection process is being carried out for the subject location at present.

In view of such stand of the oil company, the prayer of the petitioner to grant permission for setting up of the outlet cannot be allowed.

Hence, the writ petition stands disposed of without passing any order.

Affidavit-in-opposition and the supplementary affidavit filed by HPCL and exception thereto filed by the petitioner in Court be taken on record. 6.

Certified copy of this order, if applied for, shall be made available to the parties.
