Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that, the petitioner is 80 per cent physically disabled and was falsely implicated.

Learned advocate appearing for the State submits that, on receipt of source information, a suo motu complaint was lodged and raided the places, whereupon they discovered three call centers were being operated at the behest of the petitioner. Petitioner, apparently, was controlling such operation. Materials in the case diary suggest complicity of the petitioner in running three call centers which were used for the purpose of taking money from the members of the public within India and outside India.

Considering the gravity of the offence and the involvement of the petitioner in the incident, we are unable to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

Accordingly, prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner is rejected and the application being CRM (A) 1953 of 2023 is dismissed.
