Petitioner prays for direction upon the concerned police authorities to take steps which would facilitate the petitioner to cultivate the land in question. It is also submitted on behalf of the petitioner that previously a suit was filed and thereafter complaints were lodged with the concerned police station. 3.

Learned Advocate representing the respondent no. 5 has opposed this writ petition and it is submitted that respondent no. 5 is the Bargadar in connection with the land in question. Suit filed by father of the petitioner being Title Suit No. 140 of 2006 was dismissed on merit vide order dated 04.07.2023. Copy of the order passed by the civil court on Title Suit No. 140 of 2006 dated 04.07.2023 is taken on record. 4.

State-respondents are also represented by learned Advocate who has filed a communication dated 15.06.2026 and the same is taken on record.

Having considered the submissions made on behalf of the parties it appears that prayer is made in this writ petition

seeking direction upon the concerned police authorities for taking steps which would assist the petitioner to cultivate the land in question. However, police authority is not the appropriate authority to decide the right of the parties over the agricultural land in question. Petitioner is required to approach the appropriate forum.

Hence, no relief can be granted to the petitioner. 7.

The writ petition stands dismissed.

There shall be no order as to costs.
