1. The affidavit of service filed today is taken on record.

2. The petitioner claims to be a son of one Babulal Ram, who expired sometime in 2002 after rendering years of service at the SSKM Hospital. The petitioner claims pension and retiral benefits payable to his father.

3. Ms. Banerjee, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the authorities, submits that late Babulal Ram has two wives and a claim for the family pension has also been made by the children of the second wife.

4. Since the representation of the petitioner dated April 7, 2026 is pending consideration, I direct the respondent no. 3 to give a notice of hearing to the petitioner as well as the other heirs of late Babulal Ram from his second marriage, as already entailed in the notice of December 15, 2003.

5. The parties will produce all requisite documents to establish their right/claim over the pensionary and

retiral benefits of late Babulal Ram.

6. The respondent no. 3 will decide all these issues by August 31, 2026 upon giving a hearing to the parties concerned.

7. With the afore-stated directions, the writ petition is disposed of.

8. There shall, however, be no order as to costs.
