Mr. Mazhar Hossain Chowdhury ...... for the petitioner Ms. Sayanti Santra ...... for the State Having considered the materials on record and bearing in mind the involvement of the petitioner in shooting at the victim resulting in his death which is supported by medical evidence, we are of the opinion this is not a fit case to grant bail to the petitioner.

Keeping in mind the protracted period of detention suffered by the petitioner we request the trial court to conclude the trial at an early date preferably within one year from the next date fixed for recording evidence without granting unnecessary adjournment to either of the parties.
