Ms. Trina Mitra ...... for the State Petitioner had been released on bail. Subsequently, his bail prayer was cancelled by this Court. Thereafter, he surrendered on 15th January 2022 and since then he is in custody. He prays for bail.

Learned Additional Public Prosecutor opposes the prayer for bail. He submits petitioner is a member of gang who are terrorising the area. He has criminal antecedents.

Keeping in mind the materials on record and the past conduct of the petitioner and as prayer for bail of co-accused Imran Alam @ Arujun was rejected by this Court in CRM (DB) 1641 of 2022, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
