1. Petitioners are in custody for about two years. Petitioners submit that they have been falsely implicated witnesses did not turn up to depose. He prays for bail.

2. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the State contends that the bail prayer of the co-accused was turned down in December 2023 and date has been fixed for recording evidence.

3. We have considered the materials on record. There are ample materials implicating the petitioner in the murder. Offences if proved would attract mandatory life imprisonment. Date has been fixed for recording evidence.

4. Under such circumstances, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioners.

5. We request the learned trial court to expedite the trial and conclude the same at an early date.

6. Accordingly, the application for bail, is thus, rejected. (Gaurang Kanth, J.) (Joymalya Bagchi, J.)
