The petitioner was a Group-D staff at Contai Rahamania High Madrasah (H.S.).

The petitioner had filed a writ petition being WPA 20543 of 2019 alleging that he was not getting salary since 2019.

The Coordinate bench of this court by the order dated September 12, 2023 had disposed of the said writ petition by granting liberty to the petitioner to submit a representation for redressal of his grievances before the District Inspector of Schools (S.E.), Purba Medinipore, the respondent no.5 herein and the said respondent was directed to consider and dispose of the same. The petitioner had filed such representation, and in compliance with the said direction of the Coordinate bench, the respondent no. 5, by the order impugned dated March 14, 2024, has disposed of the said representation of the petitioner holding inter alia that on enquiry, the class

VIII pass certificate produced by the petitioner to get the said appointment was found to be issued by an unaffiliated school, as such has directed the Madrasah authority to take steps accordingly.

This Court is informed that such steps have been taken by the Madrasah authority, and in consequence thereof, the petitioner has been terminated from his service. In view of the said development, the challenge to the order impugned has become infructuous.

WPA 12155 of 2024 is dismissed as such without any order as to costs.
