...... for the petitioner Mr. Prasun Kumar Dutta, Ld. A.P.P.
Mr. Md. Kutubuddin Mr. Santanu Deb Roy ...... for the State Petitioner renews his prayer for bail. He submits there is slow progress in the matter before the trial court. Learned lawyer for the State opposes the prayer for bail. We have considered the materials on record. There are sufficient materials connecting petitioner with the crime. In view of the gravity of the offence and prima facie involvement of the petitioner, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner at this stage.
However, trial court is directed to consider the issue of framing of charge at the earliest preferably within a fortnight from the next date fixed before the said Court and upon charge been framed, the trial Court shall proceed with the trial with utmost expedition without granting unnecessary adjournment to either of the parties.
