The learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the police are inactive on the complaint lodged. According to him, the private respondents incorporated a society on the basis of forged documents. The competent authority is not acting on the basis of the complaint lodged.

The State and the private respondents are represented.

The learned advocate appearing for the State, on the basis of instructions, submits that the complaint of the petitioners was registered as FIR and investigation thereto is in progress.

The police are taking steps to complete the investigation. Further interference by the writ court is not called for.

So far as the allegation of incorporation of a society wrongfully is concerned, the petitioners can avail of their remedies before the appropriate forum in accordance with law. No interference is called for by the writ court. The WPA 11958 of 2021 is disposed of accordingly. The parties shall act in terms of the copy of the order downloaded from the official website of this court. (Debangsu Basak, J.)
