Mr. Banshi Badan Maity ... for the petitioner Mr. Banshi Badan Maity, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that there is a typographical mistake in the order dated 21st August, 2025 and he prays for correction of the same. On perusal of the order dated 21st August, 2025, it is revealed that in paragraph 2 instead of "The petitioner was a Head Teacher of a Primary School, who retired from service on 30.04.1999. The petitioner had completed all pension-related formalities. The pension payment order was issued on 21.08.2002. However, the concerned authorities delayed and released the gratuity amount and arrear pension amount on 21.10.2024.

The petitioner herein seeks interest to be paid on the gratuity amount and arrear pension amount for the interim period of delay in receipt of the gratuity amount and arrear pension amount." in the order, it should be read as "The petitioner was a Head Teacher of a Primary School, who retired from service on 30.04.1999. The petitioner had completed all pension-related formalities. The pension payment order was issued on 21.08.2002.
