It is submitted by Mr. Amitesh Banerjee, learned Senior Advocate appearing for the State that the U.D. case has been closed by a report of the Sub-Inspector of Kasba Police Station dated 8th December 2021.

A further report of the Anandapur Police Station dated 17th December, 2021 is also filed before this Court and the same is taken on record.

It appears from the said report that the deceased Subrata Banerjee has died at 11 pm on 3rd June 2019. The said opinion appears to have been given by the surgeon who conducted the post mortem. The said surgeon is stated to have re-examined the entire documents and given such opinion.

In that view of the matter, the writ petition is disposed of.

There shall be no order as to costs.
