The petitioner being the Assistant Teacher of a Minority Institution has sought for necessary action on part of the respondent District Inspector of Schools, Secondary Education, Kolkata, to favourably decide his prayer for upgradation of pay scale, pursuant to his post-graduate qualification. 3.

A representation of the petitioner dated April 23, 2019 to that effect is now pending before the said concerned respondent authority.

In the affidavit-in-opposition, the respondents have put forth certain grounds as to why the writ petition may not be allowed, however, without disposing of the writ petitioner's prayer as above, which is pending before it.

Therefore, this Court considers it proper to dispose of this writ petition directing the said respondent/respondent no. 3 to consider and dispose of writ petitioner's representation dated April

23, 2019, by affording opportunity of hearing to the petitioner and by dint of a reasoned order.

The entire exercise as above shall be concluded by the concerned respondent within a period of four weeks from the date of communication of copy of this order.

During the hearing the petitioner shall be at liberty to produce the judicial pronouncement in support of his case, before the concerned authority.

Since no affidavits are called for, allegations made in the writ petition, are deemed to have been denied by the respondents.

This writ petition being WPA No. 10146 of 2019 is disposed of, along with the pending applications, if any.
