Mr. Ratul Das Mr. Souvik Mazumder .....For the Petitioner Re: CRAN 14 of 2025 CRAN 14 of 2025 is an application for withdrawal of CRR 1564 of 2016 on account of dismissal of proceedings of complaint case no. C/548 of 2016 under Sections 506/509 of the Indian Penal Code before the Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Barasat, 24 Pgs (North). The said complaint has been dismissed vide order dated 5th December, 2024, on the ground that Sections 506/509 of the Indian Penal Code are compoundable under Section 320 (I) of the Cr. P. C. Therefore, the proceeding was dismissed under Section 256 (i) of the Cr.P.C due to non-appearance of the complainant and accordingly, accused persons were acquitted from this case. After dismissal of complaint, this matter becomes infructuous because quashing of the said complaint, is the subject matter of this revisional application.

Accordingly, the revisional application is disposed of, as it has become infructuous after dismissal of the complaint case.

The CRAN 14 of 2025 along with connected applications, if any, are disposed of.

There is no order as to costs.

The interim order, if any, stands vacated.
