Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that there are no materials to substantiate the allegations against the petitioner.

Learned advocate appearing for the State draws the attention of the Court to the statements recorded under Section 164 of the Criminal Procedure Code of the victim girl. He submits that only two witnesses on behalf of the prosecution are left to be examined.

Considering the involvement of the petitioner in the incident case and the gravity of the offence and considering the fact that only two witnesses of the prosecution remain to be examined, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

CRM 4950 of 2021 is dismissed.
