The petitioner seeks consideration of the representation served before the Officer-in-Charge, Borough No. VI of the Howrah Municipal Corporation on September 22, 2023.

Learned advocate representing the private respondent submits that no unauthorized construction has been made by his client.

Without going into the merits of the representation filed by the petitioner, the instant writ petition is disposed of by directing the Commissioner, Howrah Municipal Corporation or his delegate to consider and dispose of the representation filed by the petitioner in accordance with law after giving reasonable opportunity

of hearing to all the necessary parties and by passing a reasoned order.

Steps shall be taken in the matter at the earliest but positively within a period of twelve weeks from the date of communication of this order.

Learned advocate for the petitioner is directed to forward a copy of the representations dated September 14, 2020 and September 22, 2020 to the aforesaid respondent at the time of communicating the order of the Court.

The writ petition stands disposed of.

Affidavit-of-service filed in Court today is taken on record.

Urgent certified photocopy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties expeditiously on compliance of usual legal formalities.
