Mr. Ramashis Mukherjee Mr. Rameshwar Sinha Ms. Debanjana Sen ....for the de facto complainant Learned counsel for the petitioner submits as follows. The petitioner is not at all connected with the alleged offences. He is only the driver of the vehicle in which the girls were allegedly brought for the purpose of trafficking.

Heard the learned counsel for the de facto complainant. Learned counsel for the State strongly opposes the prayer for anticipatory bail. He submits that the petitioner was deeply involved in illicit trafficking of women and minor girls. Charges under the POCSO Act have also been added. The present petitioner is one of the prime accused in this case. He relies on the statements of two minor victims recorded before the learned Magistrate as also on the

statement of other minor victims recorded by the police where the petitioner's name clearly transpires.

Considering the incriminating materials available in the case diary, I do not consider this to be a fit case to grant anticipatory bail. Accordingly, the prayer for anticipatory bail is rejected. (Jay Sengupta, J.)
