1. Report filed in sealed envelop be taken on record.

2. Heard the learned Counsel for the parties.

3. Considered the materials placed by the learned Counsel for the State including the statement of the victim. Charge-sheet is stated to have been filed.

4. Regard being had to such facts and submissions, factum of permanent residence of the petitioner, non-explanation of delay in lodging FIR for missing of the victim by the informant (father of the victim), sequence of the events and circumstances, it is directed that the petitioner shall be released on bail by the learned Additional District and Sessions Judge, 2nd Court, Special Court, Malda, on such terms and conditions as deemed just and proper in the facts and circumstances of the case in connection with Baishnabnagar Police Station Case No. 148 of 2022 dated 14.02.2022.

5. Accordingly, the prayer for bail is allowed.
