Heard the learned Counsels appearing on behalf of the parties.

Petitioner renews his prayer for bail. He is in custody for about one year and six months.

Learned Advocate for the State opposes the prayer for bail.

We have considered the materials on record. Statements of police officers show petitioner and co-accused were apprehended from the spot where narcotic substance above commercial quantity was recovered.

In view of the aforesaid facts and as prayer for bail was rejected in March, 2022 and there is no change in circumstance since the said rejection of bail by this Court, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected.
