It appears from the submissions made on behalf of all the parties that extensive demolition work has been conducted by the Howrah Municipal Corporation to demolish the unauthorized portion of the property standing at 14/2, Khagendra Nath Ganguly Lane, Ward No. 12 under the Howrah Municipal Corporation. An affidavit was also affirmed on behalf of the writ petitioner to the effect that the respondent authorities have already complied with the direction of the Court and demolished the unauthorized portion.

In view of the aforesaid submission, there is nothing left to be decided in the contempt application. The contempt application along with all connected applications stand disposed of.

Report filed by the Officer-in-Charge, Golabari Police Station signed on 12th September, 2023 be retained with the records.

Urgent certified photocopy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties expeditiously on compliance of usual legal formalities.
