16.06.2022 tkm/sdas rejected C.R.M.(A) 2804 of 2022 In Re:- An application for anticipatory bail under Section 438 of the Code of Criminal Procedure in connection with Jalangi Police Station Case No. 30 of 2022 dated 24.01.2021 under Sections 21(c )/29 of the NDPS Act read with Section 25(1)(a) of the Arms Act.

And In Re : Sukur Mondal @ Sukul Ali Mondal ..... petitioner Mr. Abdur Rakib ... for the petitioner Mr. Saryati Datta ... for the State Having considered the materials on record and bearing in mind the prima facie involvement of connecting the petitioner in the alleged crime of dealing in narcotic substance which is supported by CDRs showing telephonic conversations between the petitioner and co-accuseds, we are of the opinion that custodial interrogation of the petitioner for progress of investigation is necessary and this is not a fit case to grant anticipatory bail to him.
