1. The report filed by the Inspector-in-Charge, Mohanpur Police Station, Paschim Medinipur filed in Court today is taken on record.

2. The said report has disclosed the present whereabouts of the wife of the petitioner namely, Mamata Gayen and her daughter namely, Sanghamitra Gayen. The wife of the writ petitioner is presently working in a private sector at Bhubeneswar in the State of Odisha and her daughter Sanghamitra Gayen was admitted in a school in Class VII in Bhubeneswar, Odisha.

3. The report also discloses communication made by Mamata and Sanghamitra Gayen to the I.C., Mohanpur P.S., Paschim Medinipur in which they have specifically stated that the petitioner has lodged a false complaint and he was fully aware of the present whereabouts of the persons named.

4. In the report, the I.C. has referred to an earlier proceeding in which an order was passed by the coordinate Bench on 4th July, 2023 admonishing the writ petitioner for suppression of material facts.

5. Although, we are inclined to impose exemplanary cost to the

petitioner having regard to the communication made by the Mamata Gayen and Sanghamitra Gayen to the I.C. Mohanpur Police Station, but we refrain ourselves from doing so.

6. We, however, caution the writ petitioner to be careful in future.

7. The orders passed in the earlier proceeding filed along with the report are also taken on record.

8. The report filed in Court today shall be served upon the learned Counsel appearing on behalf of the writ petitioner.

9. The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. 10.Urgent Photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance of all requisite formalities.
