Nikita Chowdhury Mr. Falguni Bandyopadhyay Ms. Riya Ballav ....for the petitioner This application under Article of the Constitution of India is at the instance of the husband praying for a direction upon the learned Additional District Judge, Fast Track, 2nd Court at Barasat to dispose of the Matrimonial Suit No.124 of 2021 expeditiously.
In view of the order sought and proposed to be passed there is no necessity to direct issuance of any notice upon the opposite parties. However, the learned advocate for the petitioner shall be obliged to forward a copy of this application along with this order upon the opposite parties or upon the learned advocates representing the opposite parties before the learned trial judge.
From the order sheets appended to this application, this Court finds that April 8, 2025 was fixed for hearing of the amendment application.
The learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the said application has been disposed of in the meantime.
In the light of the submissions made by the learned advocate for the petitioner, CO 1785 of 2025 stands disposed of by requesting the learned Additional District Judge, Fast Track, 2nd Court at Barasat to take up the hearing of the matrimonial suit after the same is made ready for hearing and make an endeavour to see that the same is disposed of as expeditiously as possible without granting any unnecessary adjournments to either of the parties subject to the condition that the petitioner is not in default of payment of any alimony or maintenance to the wife.
There will be no order as to costs.
Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
