Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that, the First Information Report was lodged with regard to transaction in the electronic media. He refers the order of rejection of the prayer for anticipatory bail. He also refers to the order granting interim protection to such accused by the Supreme Court.

We also perused the interim order of protection granted by the Supreme Court.

Two accused were granted interim protection by the Supreme Court. Special Leave Petitions are yet to be disposed of. Our orders requiring to grant anticipatory bail were not set aside.

We are bound by our own orders at this stage. Materials in the Case Dairy suggest involvement of the petitioner. Investigation is in progress.

Enlarging the petitioner on anticipatory bail will be inimical to such investigation.

Consequently, we are unable to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

This application for anticipatory bail is, thus, rejected. CRM(A) 1557 of 2024 is disposed of.
