Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the coaccused are on bail. The petitioner is not the principal assailant and no specific role has been attributed to him. Opposing the prayer, learned counsel for the State submits that the petitioner has been absconding for about four years and has surrendered before the learned Court only on February 07, 2025.

I have considered the material on record. The petitioner has been absconding for considerable period of time. Considering the conduct of the petitioner as well as the

extent of his complicity in the alleged offence, prayer for bail is rejected at this stage.

The bail application is disposed of.
