Petitioner nos.1 & 2 are the parents-in-law and petitioner no.3 is the brother-in-law respectively of the victim-housewife. There are statements showing they had subjected the victim-housewife to torture who suffered unnatural death within four years of marriage. They do not stand on the same footing with co-accuseds who have been granted pre-arrest bail by this court. The said co-accuseds are distant relations of the husband and resided separately. In view of the aforesaid facts and gravity of the offence, we are of the opinion this is not a fit case to grant anticipatory bail to them.

Accordingly, the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioners stands rejected.
