1. The revisional application seeks expeditious disposal of an application under Section 12 of the of the Guardians and Wards Act, 1890, filed in connection with Act VIII Case No.40 of 2025 pending before the learned Family Judge, Paschim Bardhaman.

2. It is submitted by the Learned Advocate appearing for the petitioner that although such application under Section 12 of the 1890 Act had been filed on January 17, 2026, the same is yet to be disposed of.

3. Having regard to the nature of the order proposed to be passed, no copy of the revisional application along with notice is directed to be served upon the opposite party. However, the petitioner shall remain obliged to serve a copy of the revisional

application along with a copy of this order upon the opposite party, within a week from date.

4. Having heard the Learned Advocate appearing for the petitioner and having perused of the material on record, this revisional application is disposed by requesting the Learned Judge, Family Court, Asansol Sadar, Paschim Bardhaman to dispose of the petitioner's application under Section 12 of the Act filed on January 17, 2026, as expeditiously as possible, and preferably within a period of 2(two)months from the next date fixed without granting any unnecessary adjournment to either of the parties.

5. The Learned Family Court is further requested to dispose of Act VIII Case No.39 of 2025 as the expeditiously business of the Family Court would permit without granting any unnecessary adjournment to either of the parties.

6. C.O.1721 of 2026 stands disposed of. No costs.

7. Urgent Photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties subject to compliance with all requisite formalities.
