Petitioner complains of police inaction.

Learned advocate for the petitioner submits that, the private respondents are preventing the petitioner from cultivating the land belonging to the petitioner. The complaint to the police did not evoke any response.

State is represented.

Learned advocate for the State on the basis of written instruction submits that, the complaint was inquired into and on inquiry the police learnt that there were disputes between the private parties with regard to an immovable property. A prosecution case under Sections 107/116(C) Criminal Procedure Code was submitted by police. The police also learnt that the petitioner lodged a case before the learned Sub-Divisional Magistrate being MP Case No. 860 of

2021 dated July 13, 2021 in which, the Court directed the Officer-in-Charge and the Block Land and Land Reforms Officer to inquire and submit a report and to maintain peace. The police conducted the inquiry in terms of such order and directed the parties to maintain peace. Report was submitted before the Jurisdictional Court.

In such circumstances, the police taking steps as noted above, no further inference in called for by a Writ Court.

WPA 12025 of 2021 is disposed of accordingly without any order as to costs.
