Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that despite two complaints in writing dated March 5, 2021 and March 9, 2021 being received by the police, disclosing commission of cognizable offences, the police did not take any steps thereon.

Learned advocate appearing for the State submits on the basis of the written instruction that, the police received a further complaint day-beforeyesterday which the police treated as First Information Report and that the investigation with regard thereto is in progress.

Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the complaints spoken of by the State is the reiteration of the earlier two complaints annexed to the writ petition.

In such circumstances, the police taking steps as noted above, treating the complaint of the petitioner as First Information Report and

conducting investigation thereon, further interference by the writ court is not called for. WPA 12308 of 2021 is disposed of accordingly.
