As none appears on behalf of the State, Ms. Sujata Das, learned advocate who ordinarily represents on behalf of the State is directed to represent the case for the State. Her appointment may be regularized by the concerned authorities.

The subject-matter of this revisional application relates to quashing of Baranagar Police Station Case No.325 of 2021 which related to a case registered under Sections 498A/ 34 of the Indian Penal Code. The allegations were against the physical and mental torture being inflicted upon the opposite party no.1. The contentions advanced in this revisional application for interference by this Court are based on question of facts relating to the truth or falsity of the nature of the allegations.

Having regard to the nature of contentions advanced in this revisional application and the stage at which the petitioners approached this Court, I am of the opinion that this is not a fit case for interference in respect of the nature of the documents relied upon as also the contentions advanced. Accordingly, C.R.R. 1514 of 2021 is dismissed. Pending applications, if any, are consequently disposed of.
