Ms. Pronoti Goswami ...for the petitioner This application under Article 227 of the Constitution is at the instance of the applicant in J. Miscellaneous Case No. 22 of 2010 praying for a direction upon the learned District Delegate, Arambagh, Hooghly to dispose of the said proceeding expeditiously. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that in spite of an order passed by a coordinate Bench of this court dated July 27, 2023 in CO No.1449 of 2023 directing the learned District Delegate to dispose of the said proceeding within a time-frame, the learned District Delegate has not taken any steps in terms of the said order.

In view of the order sought and proposed to be passed, there is no necessity to direct issuance of notice upon the opposite parties. However, learned advocate for the petitioner shall be obliged to serve a copy of this revisional application along with this order upon the opposite parties or upon the learned advocate representing the opposite parties before the learned District Delegate. Since a coordinate Bench by the order dated July 27, 2023 in CO No.1449 of 2023 passed a direction upon the learned District Delegate to dispose of the proceeding within a period of two months from the date of

communication of the order in accordance with law upon giving adequate opportunity to the parties to contest the said proceeding and to file their written objection, if not already filed, this court is of the considered view that there is no necessity to pass any further order upon the learned District Delegate.

It appears from the order sheet appended to this application that June 9, 2025 has been fixed for passing orders.

The learned District Delegate, Arambagh is requested to act in accordance with the directions contained in the order dated July 27, 2023 passed in CO No.1449 of 2023 and make an endeavour to dispose of J. Misc. Case No. 22 of 2010 expeditiously.

All parties are to act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this court. Certified copy of this order, if applied for, shall be made available to the parties.
