Petitioner is in custody for 107 days. He submits there is no direct evidence connecting him with the murder. He prays for bail.

Learned Advocate for the State opposes the bail prayer. We have considered the materials on record. Petitioner had illicit relation with the wife of the deceased. He was last seen with the deceased on the day he went missing. After his arrest, incriminating articles including ATM, motorcycle and mobile phone were recovered from his residence. In view of the gravity of the offence and incriminating materials on record, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected.
