The petitioner prays for issuance of license for carrying on the business of ration dealer on the expiry of the recorded licensee. In response to the application filed by the petitioner, the petitioner was requested to appear for hearing in terms of the memo dated 18th January, 2021. The learned advocate for the petitioner submits that the petitioner appeared before the Sub-Divisional Controller on the date as mentioned in the aforesaid memo, but till date the fate of the hearing has not been communicated to him.

As it appears that a notice for hearing was given by the Sub-Divisional Controller requesting the petitioner to appear for hearing, but no result of the hearing has been communicated to the petitioner till date, accordingly, the instant writ petition is disposed of by directing the SubDivisional Controller being the respondent No.4 herein to

pass a reasoned order in response to the prayer made by the petitioner for grant of license in his favour at the earliest, but positively within a period of six weeks from the date of communication of this order.

The writ petition stands disposed of.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties on completion of usual formalities.
