Ms. Subhanwita Ghosh ... for the petitioner Mr. Aniket Mitra ... for WBSEDCL The instant criminal reviaional application has been filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure praying for quashing of the First Information Report and its connected proceedings arising out of Narayangarh Police Station Case No. 71 of 2011 dated 28.05.2011 under Sections 135(1)(a) of the Electricity Act, 2003.

The learned Advocate for the WBSEDCL submits a report stating that the petitioner has expired during the COVID period. Let the said report be kept on record.

Under such circumstances, the instant revisional application is disposed of with a direction to the trial court to take necessary steps with regard to the authenticity of the statement made by the learned advocate for the WBSEDCL and pass further orders suitably. Copy of the order be sent to the Department as well as trial court for due compliance.
