Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that, the petitioner was falsely implicated. Two of the coaccused were enlarged on bail by the Jurisdictional Court. Learned advocate appearing for the State draws the attention of the Court to the statement of the injured recorded under Section 161 of the Code of Criminal Procedure (Cr.P.C.). He submits that, the injured suffered gun-shot injury. Considering the 161 Cr.P.C. statement of the injured, the materials in the case diary, gravity of the offence and the

involvement of the petitioner therein, we are unable to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

Accordingly, prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner is rejected and the application being CRM (A) 2834 of 2022 is dismissed.
