The petitioners participated in the recruitment process to the post of Assistant Teacher conducted by the DPSC, North 24 Parganas. Challenging the said process they filed WPA 6954 of 2021. The said writ petition was dismissed as withdrawn with leave to file afresh on the self-same cause of action by order dated 7th April, 2024 by a Co-ordinate bench of this Court.

It appears to this Court that the writ petitioners have filed the instant writ petition on 26th April, 2024 after the cut off date

mentioned in the order dated 30th April, 2024 in WPA 20966 of 2022 (Kakali Mondal & Ors.

Vs. The State of West Bengal & Ors.).

This Court is not satisfied with the explanation given by the petitioners for not filing afresh the writ petition despite leave granted to them on 7th April, 2021 (supra).

Hence, no relief can be granted to the petitioners. WPA 12332 of 2024 fails and hereby dismissed.

There shall be no order as to costs.

All parties are directed to act on a server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
