Statement of eyewitnesses recorded under section 164 Cr.P.C implicates the petitioner in the murder. His bail prayer was rejected earlier. Under such circumstances, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

Accordingly, the prayer for bail is rejected. Trial court is directed to expedite the trial and conclude the same at an early date.

Department is directed to communicate the order to the trial court for necessary compliance.
