No. 29 CHC Rejected C.R.M.(A) 1975 of 2023 In Re:- An application for anticipatory bail under Section 438 of the Code of Criminal Procedure in connection with Gangarampur Police Station Case No. 25 of 2023 dated 21.01.2023 under Sections 341/323/326/307/427/34 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860.

And In the matter of : Abdul Kader Rahaman @ Pintu & anr. ...... petitioners Mr. Mazahar Hossain Chowdhury ....for the petitioners Mr. Binoy Panda, Mr. Subham Bhakat ....for the State Incident of assault took place in which the petitioners participated. One of the injured suffered grievous hurt. Sharp cut injury on the forehead along with sharp cut injury on the scalp plus fracture on the basis of the paroximal phalanx was also recorded.

Considering the gravity of the offence and the involvement of the petitioners in the incident, we are unable to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners.

CRM (A) 1975 of 2023 is rejected.
